Arsenal Condem to defeat at home in the first match of the season by Aston villa

Aston Villa came from behind to beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium and increase the pressure to spend on Arsene Wenger.

Olivier Giroud had opening the scoring for the Gunners early in the first half but the Benteke levelled from the spot at the second time of asking following Wojciech Szczesny's foul on Gabriel Agbonlahor.

Laurent Koscielny then brought down Agbonlahor in the second half, allowing Benteke to give Villa the lead, before he recieved his second yellow in quick succession to leave the Gunners a man down.It then went from bad to worse as Antonio Luna raced forward from the back and sealed the win with a clinical finish late on.
